EMPRESAS MONTERREY/TEXAS.- South Padre Island se prepara para uno de sus acontecimientos anuales más singulares, la 13ª edición anual de Jailbreak South Padre Beach Escape, los días 17 y 18 de mayo de 2025.
Comúnmente llamada “Run the Jailbreak!°, esta carrera cuenta con miles de corredores que se enfrentan a un recorrido de más de tres millas con más de 15 desafiantes obstáculos en las hermosas playas de South Padre Island.
Al término de la carrera, los corredores y aquellos que sólo quieran divertirse un poco se dirigirán al emblemático Clayton’s Beach Bar para disfrutar de una fiesta playera de tamaño tejano.
“Hay algunos competidores de élite que vienen a correr la Jailbreak, pero esta es una carrera para todos, incluidos los principiantes de tan sólo 14 años, y aquellos que sólo buscan tener un poco de diversión en el sol en nuestras hermosas playas de arena”, dijo Blake Henry, Visit South Padre Island Director Ejecutivo.

South Padre Island is Ready for a Fun Run in the Sun as it hosts Jailbreak South Padre Beach Escape
South Padre Island is gearing up for one of its most unique annual events, the 13th Annual Jailbreak South Padre Beach Escape, on May 17th and 18th, 2025. Commonly called “Run the Jailbreak,” this race features thousands of runners tackling a three-plus-mile course with more than 15 challenging obstacles on the beautiful beaches of South Padre Island. At the conclusion of the race, runners and those just looking to have a little fun will head to the iconic Clayton’s Beach Bar for a Texas-sized beach party.
“There are some elite competitors who come out to Run the Jailbreak, but this is a race for all, including beginners as young as 14, and those just looking to have a little fun in the sun on our beautiful, sandy beaches,” said Blake Henry, Visit South Padre Island Executive Director. “With the giant celebration at Clayton’s afterward, Jailbreak is the perfect way to enjoy the tropical environment for which South Padre Island is known, and the fact that the race is fully sold out this year is a testament to the event’s popularity.”
